Dessert // Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

It is so hard to find a perfect red velvet cupcake with perfect cream cheese frosting.  Though I have never tried Brown Eyed Baker‘s recipe for this classic cupcake, I am confident that it’s a darn good recipe.   She was especially determined after she went on the Georgetown cupcake tour where she sampled an amazing red velvet cupcake from Baked and Wired.  The inspired baker returned home and hit the books to create her favorite red velvet cupcake recipe, all within the convenience of her very own kitchen.  The Brown Eyed Baker summarizes her red velvet cupcake creation, “I don’t think a better one could exist. They are everything I was hoping for – moist, fluffy, a tiny bit chocolatey, and a perfect vehicle for a heaping pile of cream cheese frosting!’ I am SOLD and can hardly wait to try this recipe.

    i have made her red velvet cupcakes multiple times & they are amazing! truly the best & definitely better than any bakeshop!
