Chocolate Dipped Teabag Cookie

Yet again French pastries are a step ahead. These whimsical and adorable Teabag Shaped Cookies by Le Pétrin, are made with lemon  shortbread to help the chocolate flavor pop. However, Sandra reminds us that we are only limited by our imaginations, suggesting “classic shortbread dough or almond, coffee, orange, vanilla, or cardamon” flavors. Try your hand at decoding French and at baking these delicious cookies! I would cut small rectangles into the shortbread and then cut off the edges to make the teabag shape. What a perfect addition to your afternoon tea party!
