We all know Pop Tarts are amazing. I mean, Pop Tarts are right up there with peanut butter cups and Oreos as far as really yummy things teenagers and I like to eat. How exciting to make Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts with Cream Cheese Frosting from scratch, real ingredients you can be proud of serving. I love Sook’s suggestions for a maple or vanilla glaze as an alternative to cream cheese frosting. Both sound great! These tarts might not pop out of a toaster, but wouldn’t you love to pop a bite of one into your mouth? Thought so.


I can’t wait to make these, (or apple from the chumky spicy apple sauce I made in Oct.). The possibilities are endless. I could cheat and use store bought crust, too. I’ve been making pie crust for over 50 years. I think I’ve practiced enough to skip all that clean-up.
