If you’ve got a sweet tooth like I do and you love breakfast foods that have everything to do with sweet then you’ll want to try this Butterscotch Spiral Coffee Cake from The Galley Gourmet. I love a good sticky bun and this recipe is like a sticky bun on steroids! It all starts with dough that is flavored with cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg, covered with cinnamon butter and sprinkled with butterscotch chips. Wait! It gets better! You roll it all up and lay it on top of a delicious butterscotch glaze to bake it. Once it’s inverted that glaze is literally the icing on the cake. I can’t imagine anything more scrumptious! This will definitely be on the menu at my next breakfast party!
