Every now and then, I go through a serious smoothie phase. I’ll put just about anything in a blender—fruit, veggies, coconut milk, yogurt, spices. I have never considered oatmeal, however. Not until I saw this great recipe from Martha Stewart for Oatmeal Smoothies. If you don’t have time to cook oatmeal in the morning, why not have it quick, raw and pink? Smoothies are great to take on the go or to enjoy post-workout. With coconut water and bananas, this recipe is especially great for replenishing potassium and electrolytes after some sweaty exercise. And if you’re not in a pink mood, try blueberries instead of raspberries!
