Whenever I make sandwich cookies I get the urge to get out my pretty dishes and throw a tea party. There is just something about them that says “special occasion” to me. Maybe it’s the delicious layers of flavor that you get when you bite into one or maybe it’s their pretty design. Either way, they are a step up from a traditional cookie and are so much fun to make. These Sweetheart Sandwich Cookies from Delish are no exception. A classic sugar cookie is baked and layered with a decadent and lightly tinted marshmallow filling and then dipped into melted chocolate. I can’t think of a prettier or tastier treat to share with the ones you love.
