Need a party favor that’s a little quirky and different? Look no further than these Matchstick Cookies. Kanon has come up with these inventive tiny cookies shaped and packaged like matches. Sadly, I cannot read Japanese. From the English translation it seems the sticks of the matches are very finely cut sugar cookies. The darker matchsticks have been colored using cocoa powder, while the tips are a thin royal icing colored to match any theme. They look too real to eat!
