It’s always a good sign when your guests enjoy a dessert so much that they devour them all before you even get the chance to try one yourself. Poor Leigh Anne from Your Home Based Mom experienced that with her Peanut Butter Chocolate Twist Cupcakes. Luckily, she did try the frosting and notes “…the cupcake is worth eating, if only for the frosting.”
With a cupcake base of peanut butter batter and milk chocolate batter all swirled together, I’m betting that the cupcake is just as good as the frosting! Plus, Leigh Anne shares her secret of how to get that beautiful swirly, two-toned frosting look with a terrific step-by-step tutorial! I also love that one of the comments suggests using that same frosting technique for maybe a red, white, and blue swirl! Since my son’s birthday is July 3rd, you can be sure I’ll be putting that idea to good use!
