One commenter said it perfectly: “that cake is awe inspiring.” Butter Hearts Sugar put her amazing cake skills to work and made one little boy celebrating his first birthday (and probably his parent’s too) VERY happy with this Very Hungry Caterpillar Cake. The cake was vanilla but there was a special surprise for the birthday boy once it was cut into…rainbow! The layers were different colors and everything was frosted in buttercream and covered in fondant. I can only imagine how hard it was to cut into such a wonderful cake.
