This season, take a clue from Shelly at Cookies and Cups and do a little something different with your cookies. Take that standard cookie recipe, and instead of dropping little dough balls on a cookie sheet, split the dough in half and spread the two halves out into long rectangles. Then, press some bits of chocolate in there—Shelly expertly uses White Chocolate M&M’s—and bake accordingly. After they have cooled, break out that pizza cutter and cut the giant, rectangular cookies into perfectly portioned bars. These Cookie Sticks are fun, colorful, and sweet, loaded with M&M’s that add a chocolatey crunch, and just a little flair to the traditional Easter cookie.
