Peach Vanilla Bean Jam

Peach Vanilla Bean Jam

When my fiancé and I first started dating, our Sunday morning ritual was to head down to a little bakery in our college town to pick up some croissants and jam for a “breakfast” that would transition into spending the whole day together. Now we’re big kids with big kid jobs, and Sunday mornings usually consist of gulping down a latte and spending the entire day grocery shopping. When I saw this Peach Vanilla Bean Jam recipe from Tara at Smells Like Home and how perfectly she paired it with rich, buttery croissants, I was hit with a strong dose of nostalgia. The jam is heavenly and “rich with juicy ripe peaches suspended in their own juices that, when cooked down for over an hour with some sugar, thicken into a glorious and sticky jam.” The tiny vanilla bean seeds add a lot of flavor, too, and the jam as a whole has a sweetness that tastes natural. Perfect for a breakfast on the go or a slow Sunday morning, this jam will pair perfectly will a croissant, some toast, or whatever you prefer.
