A decent homemade white cupcake recipe is hard to come by. The perfect white cupcake recipe? Forget about it! That’s what I thought until I tried the Vanilla Bean Sour Cream Cupcake Recipe from Katie at Good Life Eats. Katie says that she loves the “slight tang that the sour cream offers the cupcakes and how incredibly moist they are.” I love how perfectly light the cupcakes are and the complete versatility of the wonderful white cake. Bonus: Katie also includes how to do that totally adorable two-tone frosting of hers at the bottom of the recipe. These cupcakes were presented at a children’s birthday party, but they could be an excellent addition to a picnic, a wedding, or Friday night’s dessert.
