When I was a kid, one of the things I looked forward to most at sleepovers was that my mom or dad would help us whip up some milkshakes. These particular milkshakes were made of vanilla ice cream, but also included some cinnamon and nutmeg that gave it a little twist. This Vanilla Chai-Nana Breakfast Shake from Chocolate-Covered Katie seems like a grown-up, slimmed-down version of my childhood favorite. Instead of ice cream, this shake is thickened with a ripe banana, and infused with chai spice either by adding your own, or by steeping the milk with a chai tea bag (the DIY version allows you to adjust the spice mixture to your liking). If you are looking for a little bit of indulgence, Katie suggests adding some coconut milk ice cream, as well.
