Strawberry and Rhubarb Meringue Pie

For many years, whenever I heard the words Rhubarb Pie, I would get a funny feeling and wonder why anyone in their right mind would make such a thing. And then last year, while attending a reunion on the very Italian side of my family, one of my cousins said, “Have you tried my rhubarb pie?” I was scared to death, but I had to try it, and boy did I feel like a fool. It was amazing. I was instantly hooked! So I will definitely be trying this Strawberry and Rhubarb Meringue Pie Recipe from Chasing Delicious. A beautiful mix of fresh strawberries and rhubarb is tossed with honey and turbinado sugar (aka sugar in the raw) and carefully baked in a wonderful pie crust. The whole thing gets topped with a fluffy meringue. So, if like me, you have been afraid of rhubarb pie, I dare you to be brave and try it! You just might be hooked too!
