Now, I’d like to say that after working with doughnuts every day of my life for the past two months I am over them. I would like to say that perhaps I’ve eaten one too many, or I have gotten over the way the dough smells fresh from the fryer. Maybe I could say that I just don’t like the way fried, sugary dough tastes anymore, but that would be a lie. As soon as I saw this Nutella Doughnut recipe from Sips and Spoonfuls, I knew it was a recipe that I would have to try. The recipe is really simple, and even doughnut novices will be able to do this quickly and easily. The dough recipe is easy to follow but creates amazingly crisp, fluffy, and golden doughnuts. Sukaina also gives you the option of adding your Nutella before or after you fry your doughnuts. My advice? Newer doughnut fryers should add it after by using a piping bag to ensure that you keep as much of the Nutella in your doughnuts as possible.
