Yogurt Ice Pops with Berries

berry-yogurt-ice-pops

Growing up, the sounds of summer included the ringing bells of a “paletero” cart, signaling to passersby the sale of “paletas,” or Latin American ice pops. Leite’s Culinaria shares this wonderful paleta recipe from Fany Gerson. These Yogurt Ice Pops with Berries are a perfect low-fat, healthy alternative to your usual sugary and syrupy cool-down. They’re made with unsweetened Greek-style yogurt and a lemon-zested berry mixture. To make these ice pops look as great as they taste, use a skewer to marble the berry mixture with the yogurt. Serve these at your next hot summer event!
