Here at Best Friends For Frosting, we love a good wedding. The dresses, the flowers, but most of all, we’re interested in the desserts! We love to see the cakes, the dessert tables, and the unique choices the bride and groom makes when it comes to offering a sweet treat to all of their guests.
Currently, we’re crushing on Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ recent wedding. Blake has been on our radar ever since she invited one of our favorite bloggers, Angie of Bakerella, over to make cake pops with a group of her friends. She also created a s’mores cupcake for Sprinkles for which all proceeds from the sales benefited Oxgam’s Somali famine disaster fund.
The variety of treats at the Lively and Reynolds’ wedding sounds divine. The couple welcomed their guests with a gorgeous four-tiered cream-colored cake with peach petal accents. Mini chocolate bundt cakes filled with chocolate ganache and artisan popsicles from King of Pops were also served. The reception also featured a s’mores bar from Bakehouse, a local bakery and cafe. It sounds like the perfect combination of great sweets to celebrate with!
