Dessert with Your Cup Of Cake

I was so excited to learn that my pal Lizzy from Your Cup Of Cake was planning on visiting Sacramento, California for a dear friend’s wedding. I insisted we meet for lunch and go to my favorite place for dessert while she was in town. We had lunch at Magpie Cafe and dessert at Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates. Lizzy had never tried French Macarons before, but she loved them. Now she is back home in Portland writing her first recipe book, and it probably won’t surprise you that it’s all about cupcakes.

I have to say, Summer 2012 has been absolutely fabulous. What are some of your favorite summer memories this year?
