The holidays are upon us. For some, that means decking the halls with boughs of holly, and for others it means cooking and baking until 4AM the day prior. For the past four years, I have been guilty of staying up the night prior piping last minute touches of frosting on cookies and cupcakes. I usually get about five hours of sleep and feel exhausted the next day.
When QVC told me about their holiday 2012 motto “All the joy, None of the Craziness,” it instantly made sense to me. It made me think for a moment and realize how I can apply this to my own life for future holidays. Especially now that I have a 2-year-old son, I don’t want to miss a blink on the holidays.
Over the past two weeks, I have sampled multiple desserts from QVC’s gourmet holiday menu. I can assure you that these food and dessert items will not be questioned as to whether or not you prepared them yourself. I was amazed at how homemade they tasted.
Today I will be giving you a peek into the items I taste tested and my shopping wishlist, including some of my favorite home decor items featured in QVC’s online catalog.
