Here at BFFF, we’re all about living life to the fullest and loving yourself on the inside and out! Today, we’re thrilled to have makeup & hair stylist, Kayci Stoots of Something Blue, sharing one of the most commonly asked beauty tips with you: how to shape the perfect brow!
Often when you apply makeup, it’s very important to work from the top to the bottom.
For The Perfect Brow, you’ll need:
- Stila mixed shadow palette (warm cool brown tones)
- Angled paint brush (purchased at Michael’s craft store.)
Once your eye cream, spf, foundation, and concealer have been applied, it’s time to tackle those brows! Now, no matter how fair or how dark your complexion is, your brows need to be filled in – I promise. It’s best to use a neutral to cool tone, about one shade lighter than your natural brow color. The neutral/cool tone will help you steer clear of any orangey tones or tones that tend to look unnatural.
You want to just follow your natural shape and “fill in” where hairs a sparse. The goal is not to look like your brows are “filled in,” but in fact, nicely shaped and full.
After the filling in is complete, take a clear mascara, and go over your brows once to tame them and give them a final shaping.
