This DIY confetti project by our DIY Project Contributor Jessica of The Confetti Bar will make you want to party all the time! Confetti banners are quick, fun, and easy to make before big events. The best part? It’s a cinch to customize them for whatever theme or occasion you’ve dreamed up. Simply change out the letters and/or colors to tailor your confetti banners to a crowd!
-Jointed banner (purchase a kit online or at a party store, or make your own by cutting letters out of cardboard and spray painting them with a base color)
-Glue (any kind that dries clear)
-Assortment of confetti and glitter
1. Cover one of the letters with a layer of glue.
2. Pile some confetti on the letter, pressing down gently so that it sticks, and then shake off the excess.
(Optional: If your confetti is chunky and doesn’t cover all the spaces, feel free to shake on a little glitter to fill in the gaps!)
3. Repeat for all the letters, and once everything is dry, connect the letters with the brads/brass fasteners to form a word or phrase.
4. Hang or pin the banner up on a wall and enjoy your confetti creation!
What will your confetti banners say?
