When it comes to entertaining, we love to keep it chic, but casual! It’s all about creating that perfect balance between a comfortable atmosphere for your guests, and just enough decoration and styling to really amp up a space. That’s why today, we’re so thrilled to have Caroline of POSH PR sharing her tips for planning a girls’ get-together. With hot pink details and great recipes on hand, Caroline has the perfect plan for hosting a party. Here’s what she has to say:

When people ask me what I do for a living I somehow seem to come up with a slightly different response each time. Most of the time I say that I am the CEO of a small business. Often times I say that I plan fabulous events and leave it at that! Either way I phrase it, when it comes to entertaining for others, they are in for a real treat. As a planner and designer, I’ve come to realize that it’s truly the smallest of details that make (or break) a party. And, the best part, these details do not have to be ridiculously expensive.

I am so excited to begin the planning process of a party to honor the most important girls in my life, my POSH PR team! I want them to know how much I truly appreciate them. They are the hardest working girls I know, and I am so excited to entertain for them for a change!

As far as decor for this party, I want to incorporate a chic black and white striped pattern with accents of pink. I plan to use a few fun items like our Lips Cocktail Napkins and our Lips Drink Coasters, to bring in that vibrant hot pink color. Of course, there will be balloons and tassels and all of the fabulous fashion infused party goods that come with planning a party for fashionable ladies.

When your motto is “Champagne Is Always The Answer” there’s bound to be a specialty sparkling drink somewhere! I like to pair sparkling drinks with fun food items that are bite sized and easy to eat while holding a champagne flute.

Truth be told, I am more of a cheese and crackers kind of girl, and always have been! I’m a huge fan of laying out a variety of cracker options like Town House® Original Crackers or Town House® Pretzel Thins to pair with my favorite sliced meats and cheeses. I also love doing up a quick, delicious dip for a party and laying out options like Town House® Pita Crackers or Town House® Flatbread Crisps. With so much variety, my guests have the perfect pairing to choose from!
