One of the best parts about getting ready for date night is taking your time and playing with your makeup! If you have a date night coming up (or you can use this tutorial as your excuse to plan one!) this is the perfect makeup tutorial for you to help give you a fun, natural, and glam look for that special night. We are so excited to have Jasmine Hoffman, professional makeup artist, here to give us her easy makeup tutorial on how to effortlessly achieve your date night look! Here is Jasmine with the tutorial:
Beautiful makeup starts with great skin! I recommend Trumarine collagen skin and hair supplements.
Prep the skin with Stila one set correct primer to even out redness in the skin.
Laura Mercier in high coverage concealer under eyes and on imperfections.
I used Bobbi Brown skin foundation to even out skin without making the skin look heavy since it leaves a beautiful radiance. This is my favorite foundation and I’ve been using Bobbi Brown for 16 years.
I used Laura Mercier translucent power. It sets the makeup to stay all day without adding any buildup.
Bronzer and Highlight
I used Nars Bronzer Laguna in “Virtual Domination Pallet” to contour and bronze the temples, cheek bones, neck, and jaw line.
I then highlighted with a light beige color called Miss Liberty from the same pallet.
Blush with new Nars pallet from Nars called “Blush Contour and Lip Pallet”. I used the soft pink called “Roman Holiday” on the cheek bones.
For an additional look, try Laura Mercier bronze glow stick to give a little extra contour if needed.
Eye Primer and Shadow
I used Laura Mercier eye basic in flax.
Then set primer with light creme shadow from Stilas in the light pallet.
I used Stila damsel liner on top and bottom lash line and smudge out to get a soft smoky base.
Then, apply golden bronze shadow from the Stila in the light pallet on top of the smudged liner and blend out. This keeps the shadow on twice and long and intensifies the color.
I then apply soft the pearl color to the inner corner and brow bone.
For the perfect wing liner, use the angled brush and painting liner from Shu Uemura to draw the wing from the outer corner in small brush strokes out at a 45• angle towards the inner corner.
While the liner is still damp, smudge it into the outer corner to get a smoky liner look. Apply Stila mascara mile high lashes to top and bottom lashes.
For a finishing touch of shimmer, use Makeup Forever Star Dust in iridescent beige 926 on the inner corner to really make the eyes look bright.
To make the eyes a little more smoky for night, apply Laura Mercier tuxedo caviar stick to lash liner and outer corner and blend out.
Apply Anastasia brow dip in blonde on brows to create the perfect brow arch following the natural shape of the brow.
For the lashes, I used Noir lash lounge lashes in whiplash with Shu Uemura lash glue.
I mixed Bon Bon, Laura Mercier, and Glacé with Stila melon lip vinyl for the perfect coral pink lip.
Now that you’re all ready, where will you go for your perfect date night?
