When you’re living your dreams—or striving towards them—each step is worth celebrating! Who else agrees?! That’s not to say that certain days of the year aren’t especially important. We all know June is the month of dads and graduates. This time of year gives us a chance to cheer for the accomplishments of our loved ones and celebrate how much they truly mean to us.
With so many memorable holidays and get-togethers coming up, I can’t help but reflect on past celebrations with my family and our own holiday traditions. Growing up, we celebrated everything under the sun–from important milestone accomplishments to holidays. I caught the entertaining bug at a very young age. I can remember being 9 years old laying out back in the sun with my mom, reading lifestyle magazines like Good Housekeeping, Woman’s Day, and Better Homes and Gardens. I have no doubt that my excitement with so many gorgeous images and ideas played a huge role in my passion for entertaining today.
As summer is approaching, my social calendar is filling to the brim with parties, parties, and more parties!! My mother-in-law is retiring, Charlie graduates from preschool in June and his 5th Birthday will be here in July, and so much more! Where does the time go?!
Speaking of parties, one of my all-time favorite parties I’ve ever thrown was a Mother’s Day party! The theme was pink, black, and chic. The table was decked out with a polka dot table runner that I made out of fabric from the fabric store, gold utensils, gold-rimmed plates (another T.J. Maxx find), and so much more! See that hot pink dress and those blush pink shoes?! Those were from T.J. Maxx! True story!
T.J. Maxx is one of my FAVORITE one-stop shops when it comes to entertaining and accessorizing for all occasions, or even for everyday fun! I love how they have so many trends and carry top name brand.
How do you celebrate you?
