chic-entertaining

Summer is in full swing, which means bright weather and outdoor entertaining! My friend Tessa and I recently collaborated on a fun project with Pier 1 to transform her outdoor space into a chic little oasis. Rest assured, even if you have a smaller outdoor space, you can still make it look stunning!
Tessa never thought we would be able to put a loveseat on her balcony, but it turned out that this gorgeous Bayan Deluxe piece was the perfect size! The balcony floor was definitely lived on, so we picked up this great natural rug to cover any blemishes and to really bring everything together. Sticking with the sort of boho oasis theme, we wanted to create a little seating area (conveniently located right next to the gorgeous beverage tub!). It was super easy to use a chair cushion and some added pillows to create a cozy spot! I love how the hanging lanterns make the patio feel so whimsical, and the best part is they run on batteries, so you don’t need to worry about extension cords.
As a side note, we all know broken glass on a patio (with neighbors below!) is a big no-no, so these plastic wine glasses are perfect for outdoor gatherings. I love how the space turned out – super boho, comfortable, and inviting. Now all you need to do is add rosé or root beer floats, and you have the perfect girls’ night on the patio!
