Have I ever told you how much I love weddings? I’ve been a bridesmaid in nearly every wedding I’ve been to, so I have plenty of experience giving unique, personal gifts. I have ANOTHER wedding coming up in the spring that I’m excited to attend, but there could be more on the way with the time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day being when most engagements take place! I’ve already started looking high and low for new gift ideas and fun engagement party décor. Fortunately, one of my favorite wedding sites, BHLDN, had exactly what I’m looking for! I’ve rounded up my favorite finds to celebrate the bride and groom!
Here are some of my favorite engagement party picks!
Decor with scalloped edges is hands-down one of my favorite trends! I couldn’t resist these patisserie plates!
Every day is a reason to celebrate, but nothing says HOORAY like a wedding! These ‘cue the confetti’ poppers are a must! I love the idea of popping them as the bride and groom enter the party.
You can never go wrong with pink and gold confetti, right?! What a great addition to a gifting table, or even for filling inside of clear balloons.
Okay, here I go again with the scalloped edges! But with the addition of glittery gold. I LOVE these glitter-dipped place cards! Find the perfect calligrapher, and they are an adorable keepsake for guests.
These gold foiled agate place card holders are so gorgeous! They’re the bohemian bride’s dream. They’re also a great addition for directional signage for say, marking where the cocktails are, or noting the name of your yummy petite desserts.
I think 2017 is going to a be a big year for the swans! ;) Can’t get over this sequin smitten swan cake topper! It adds so much personality to wedding tradition. You could also place these adorable swans around floral centerpieces on your party tables.
These mother of pearl cake servers are exactly what I would have gotten for my wedding! Grab them for the engagement party and then let the bride keep them to use in the wedding!
Toast the happy couple and make any bottle of bubbly just a little more fancy with this rose quartz bottle stopper! They also make great favors!
Now, on to the gifts for the newly engaged couple! I know that can sometimes be hard. This list is such a fun way to add unexpected style to the celebration!
Every bride and groom wants to keep their wedding-day accessories in tip-top condition leading up to the wedding. They also need to keep them safe as they travel to the venue, and even to the honeymoon. I love the idea of giving this jewelry roll to the bride.
Of course she’s going to need SOMETHING to put in her new jewelry holder. Why not these radiant moonstone earrings?
This chic travel document set is perfect for the couple’s honeymoon getaway, and a great gift for both the bride and the groom.
And last but not least, for those who like a little booze…don’t miss this gold-scripted decanter! It’s too gorgeous not to display in the couple’s new home.
