Remember when we showcased so many of our favorite bloggers with our 16 Favorite Frosting Recipes and 28 Popular Blog’s Favorite Cupcake Recipes? Well, we’re at it again, but this time with cookies!

Cookies are the ultimate snack whether for comfort or casual events. They’re portable, compact, and incredibly delicious. They’re packed in school lunches, featured at parties, and sold at bake sales. Cookies are everywhere, and everybody is always in need of a fresh, new recipe! Luckily for you, we’ve asked some of the internet’s most popular bloggers to share their all-time favorite cookie recipes. From the perfect chocolate chip cookie to the best recipe for sugar cookie cut-outs, we’ve got you covered!



These Chocolate Chip Lava Cookies from Amanda of Kevin and Amanda provide the perfect way to eat dessert. Top them with a scoop of ice cream or have them with milk. Amanda says, “I am so in love with these darn chocolate lava cookies!”

Naomi of Bakers Royale raves about these Chewy Chocolate Chip Snickers Cookies, and we certainly understand why. Luckily, she gives us some advice on her blog when it comes to making them. Naomi says, “I should mention when you make these—uh, maybe make two batches. I made this over the weekend and each cookie sheet was cleared minutes after it came out of the oven.”


Melissa of Best Friends For Frosting’s favorite recipe is perfect for plain sugar cookies or dressed up cut-outs. According to Melissa, this Basic Rolled Sugar Cookie recipe “never fails to keep its shape, and it is so delicious.”


Angie of Bakerella gives some good tips when it comes to her favorite Dark Chocolate Chip Comfort Cookies. She says, “Having cookies handy is comforting. And knowing I can have one and be good or eight and feel good, cookies equal comfort for me.”


Meaghan Mountford of The Decorated Cookie will never changed her favorite Best Ever Cut-Out Cookie recipe. She tells her readers, “Don’t ever ask me to change it. Not only does it taste so good that I’ve seen people at parties hide these cookies in their pockets before the stash disappeared (really, their pockets), but it holds the cookie cutter shape flawlessly and bakes beautifully.”


These classic Peanut Butter Blossoms from Bridget at Bake at 350 are always incredibly popular. According to Bridget, “These babies get scarfed up by kids and grown-ups alike.”


Marian of Sweetopia absolutely loves these Shortbread Cookies. She says, “I couldn’t believe it when I first made it, and was a little doubtful about how successful the recipe would be, but it turns out that the cornstarch in this version of shortbread is what helps give the cookie a ‘melt-in-your-mouth’ sensation.”


Lizzy of Your Cup of Cake loves these incredible Carrot Cake Cookie Sandwiches. According to Lizzy, “They are seriously carrot CAKE cookies.  They are so fluffy it’s out of control!  And with the sweet cream cheese filling, these babies are just perfect—a fun twist on traditional carrot cake.”


Callye’s Basic Sugar Cookies are her favorite go-to cookies from The Adventures of Sweet Sugarbelle. Callye tells her readers that she prefers to focus on the art of decorating the cookies, rather than baking them. She says, ” What I can say for this recipe is that it’s easy, which is just my style.  I’ve always said, I am not a baker, as much as an artist who happens to use cookies and icing as my medium.”



Glory, the voice behind Glorious Treats, has an incredible favorite fall cookie. These Pumpkin Cookies with Maple Icing are an “easy and oh-so-delicious recipe that includes some of the most wonderful flavors of fall… pumpkin, cinnamon and maple.”


Stef of Cupcake Project’s favorite cookie is simple and sweet. These Bereavement Cookies, or Simple Sugar Cookies, are the best sugar cookies she has ever had. Stef says, “These sugar cookies have just the right amount of butter, they’re rich but not oily, they’re sweet (but only slightly so), they have a nice crunch, and they are easy to roll out and cut with cookie cutters.” Sounds perfect!


These Chocolate Caramel Cookies with Sea Salt from Maria at Two Peas and Their Pod sound divine. According to Maria, “The rich chocolate, sweet caramel, and salt are the perfect combination.”


Stephanie Nuccitelli of 52 Kitchen Adventures has been on a hunt for this Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe for a while, but now she has found it! Stephanie says, “These have a sprinkle of sea salt on top which enhances the sweetness. I love how these come out really soft and almost like they’re slightly undercooked in the middle, but still have a nice crisp when you first bite into them.”


These Brown Butter Funfetti Sugar Cookies from Julie of The Little Kitchen are, “buttery and slightly nutty from the brown sugar.” Julie loves these cookies, and we’re sure you will too!
