We are pleased to invite Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates into our Easter basket this year. As always, visiting Ginger Elizabeth’s in an experience within itself.
The display case featured a mass variety of hand crafted chocolates, French macaroons, among other fabulous desserts. A few of our favorite chocolates were Maya Chilli, Meyer Lemon, Earl Gray, Lychee Elderflower, Cassiss Violet, Raspberry Rose, Passion Fruit, and Creme Fraiche. Other eye catchers were the 72% Chocoalte Mousse Chocolate Bisquit and Crunchy Hazelnut, Milk Chocolate Bark with hazelnuts, Pistachios & Almonds, Homemade Marshmallow Baton, Cocoa Nib Shortbread, Dark Chocolate Hollow Bunnies, Peanut Butter Croquant filled Milk Chocolate Easter Eggs, and their assortment of French Macaroons; Almond, Salty Caramel and Passion fruit.
Fellow local bakers, Ginger is now featuring a Baking shelf dedicated to high quality baking goods. We were very excited to purchase (1) pound of 73% Chocolate + Valrhona Crunchy Pearls to use for future baking projects, stay tuned!
Chocolatier, Ginger Elizabeth Hahn has truly put Sacramento on the map in the Chocolate scene. In 2010 Dessert Professional awarded Ginger Elizabeth as one of the top ten Chocolatiers in Northern America. The Sacramento Business Journal has name Ginger Elizabeth Hahn one of their “40 Under 40″. As if that is not already enough, she also has appeared on TLC’s television show “Chocolate Wars“. Did we mention she is only 30 years old?! We are waiting and hoping that she will release a recipe book next because we cannot stop talking about her Salted Caramel Macaroons. Without a doubt, Ginger Elizabeth could open her shop in any city and it would be successful.
