Are you visiting New York City soon? If you are, we are totally jealous! NYC is home to some of the greatest things including Broadway shows, Times Square, and an incredible array of baked goods. Today, we’ve come up with some of the absolute best bakeries to be found in the Big Apple. Whether your traveling for business or pleasure, or maybe you’re lucky enough to live near one of these bakeries, be sure to make a point of stopping at one of these hot spots!


At the top of our list is Momofuku Milk Bar. The bakery, just called Milk, has five different locations, so you really have no excuse to miss any of them. Milk offers delicious desserts from soft serve ice cream to whole pies with everything in between. Wash it all down with jugs of signature cereal milk or pretzel milk — this bakery truly earns its name.


We’ve talked about Magnolia Bakery on BFFF before, but we’re just fine with mentioning them again! Magnolia Bakery is found in Greenwich Village in NYC. From its humble beginnings of one bakery in 1996, Magnolia has expanded to eight different locations. The bakery features classics such as vanilla cupcakes and pumpkin pie as well as specialty items like magic cookie bars, s’mores cupcakes, and peanut butter icebox pie. You do not want to miss these mouthwatering treat!

Bouchon Bakery is a Parisian styled bakery with two locations — Time Warner Center and Rockefeller Center. This bakery offers an awesome variety of French pastries that will make anyone feel like they are sitting across the street from the Eiffel Tower. Bouchon Bakery sells delicious macarons, brioche, and even pet treats for your special little friend!
