Today we’re thrilled to have our DIY Contributor Krista of Sugar Love Chic share all of the details from the newest chapter in her life. She’s getting married, and now that she is in the full-fledge planning stage, she is having so much fun! From the location to the music to the food and the friends, wedding planning can get a little bit hectic, but when you have help, it becomes a little bit easier. We’re excited to offer you a glimpse in to her planning process in hopes that it will help you out and relieve a bit of stress! Planning your wedding can be so wonderful, if you just remember to have fun with it! Here’s what Krista has to say:

Life is such a beautiful thing. It is full of so many stages that help shape us along the way. The newest chapter in my life is my recent engagement! It has been such a dream! From the moment that my wonderful fiance popped the question, to my current state of non-stop planning, it has been so much fun to spend time bringing my dream wedding to life. Most of my spare time now is spent flipping through glossy pages filled with beautiful decor ideas, dreamy venues, and chic dresses, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

But in addition to all of the venue, dresses, and dessert details, my favorite part of this new journey is realizing that my fiance and I are not only planning our wedding, but also our future together. So exciting! And something that both of us have taken time to reflect on throughout this process, is all of the wonderful people who have positively influenced and helped guide the decisions in our lives. Behind the beginning of almost all life journeys is a group of people that gave you that extra push, shared some wise words, or lent a helping hand when you needed it most. From family and friends, to a kind neighbor or a great professor, so much of the good advice we have learned along the way will be used later on as we build our life together. We will continue to use everything we have learned in our future marriage and life, and we will continue to celebrate those who have helped us along the way.
