Engagements and weddings are in full swing! It seems like everyday someone we know and love is cleverly announcing their engagement or walking down the aisle. Our brand manager, Hilari Williams, recently tied the knot herself, in a beautiful black, white, and glittery gold affair. Her southern plantation wedding featured details big and small, including personalized corn hole boards and giant Jenga made by her grandfather, signature his and hers cocktails (recipes developed by her dad), hand-delivered welcome bags, and a golden wedding dress. It was truly a day to remember! One of her favorite parts of the planning process was selecting the invitations and accompanying paper products. She partnered with Minted to choose something truly unique and absolutely perfect for her wedding invitations. We’re not quite sure how she did it, as their selection is incredible and each invitation is prettier than the next! What did she choose?

“Just one look at the Minted website and you can see why selecting our invitations was such a difficult decision. Each invitation is thoughtfully designed and crafted, and the quality is unmatched. In my mind, the invitations are the first glimpse of your wedding that guests receive (other than the save the date). So, it’s important to WOW them and share your excitement with them through the invites! In staying true to our theme and party feel, we chose the gorgeous Gold Rush Foil-Pressed invitations. I worked with a designer at Minted to mix up the fonts, layout, and text to truly customize it to our needs – a service open to anyone purchasing through their site! The gold polka dots looked like confetti and I love the fonts we used to convey the celebration ahead. With a little out of the box thinking, we mixed and matched the accompanying cards (RSVP, transportation, and website) from other collections to include a variety of patterns yet still maintain the gold foil pressed details and fonts. Each envelope was lined with a gold foil liner, sealed with a black, white, and gold sticker, and hand addressed by my incredible mama. Her handwriting is well-known in our friend and family circle, and it was the only option in my mind in regards to addressing the invitations. Every invitation detail was perfect and it absolutely conveyed our wedding style and theme to those attending. Thanks to Minted for making all of my gold foil invitation dreams come true!”
