With monochromatic rooms becoming more and more popular, we can’t help but fall in love with this gorgeous little boys’ room! Lily and Spice is taking us on an exclusive tour of the black, white, and grey space with hints of blue throughout. This chic and minimalistic space is perfect for the two toddlers that share the amazing black bunk beds. The interior designer definitely knew what she was doing when she was creating this room for her cute kiddos! Check out the amazing space below, and get ready for some serious inspiration.

“Our boys room has truly been a labor of love, being the first thing we started when we moved into our new home and the first thing that we have finished. We recently downsized to a cozy rancher from a large three level home for the simple reasons of wanting to make things more ‘simple’ and to have less room for ‘stuff’. We now have just three bedrooms, our master, my office and #fraserrenoboysroom. You can read more about why we decided to have the boys share a room here.

The built in bunks have made this space not only somewhere to sleep but somewhere to play, somewhere to be creative, and somewhere to daydream. We spend a lot of time snuggled up in our teepee or on the hanging chair reading books and mostly a lot of time building forts and playing pirates on the bed. I wanted to create a space that had different elements to it, that enhanced the imagination, and was somewhere they would want to spend a lot of time.

Monochromatic kids rooms are extremely trendy right now and I’m not usually one to fall for trends but I couldn’t help the contrast of the black and white. Adding grey and some blue gave it just the look I was going for! Right before we moved, I had completed a toddler room with Brittany over at Three Little Crowns and fell in love with the design that we came up with for her son Dexter. You can see his room here. My inspiration for Brooks and Barret’s room came from this space as it screamed FUN and I could just picture my two littles making so many memories in such a cool space.”
