As Mid Century Modern has been totally hitting the mainstream, the resurgence of iconic furniture designs have once again flooded the market. In a sea of sub par reproductions, I can personally tell you that there are a few companies that stand out from the rest and Rove Concepts is definitely one of them. Remember this Eames lounge chair that I shared a while back? It was love at first sight. I have been so happy with it that I decided to expand my horizons with a few more items from their collection. Nothing perks me up more than refreshing my house!

I have always been a huge fan of all of Eero Saarinen’s designs, including his tulip tables. Seriously, they’re so stylish! Andy and I have had our eyes on one of his end tables for quite a while, so I finally took the plunge. How can you go wrong with marble?! It’s hard to believe the table was first introduced in 1956. Another proving factor on how great design can be timeless. As my husband would say, “Its beautiful curves, clean lines, and beveled top are the perfect blend between form and function.” I absolutely love this tulip marble table! It pairs perfectly with my pink Eames chair and makes my office look fun and stylish – all rolled into one! No we’re not talking about a Meredith Brookes song over here. ;)

While I was at it, I also picked up a few accents from Rove to complement the new table. I love the look of live plants in a space and was drawn to a few cool planters/terrariums that Rove carries. Their Angular Concrete Terrarium from the Kure collection was a fun one, as well as their Angular Glass Terrarium. It has made a perfect home for one of my larger air plants.

Who isn’t obsessed with marble right now?! I am obsessed with this Hex Marble Tray that is also from the Kure collection. I love its satin sheen and beautiful soft veins within the design. At first I used this in my office, but lately, I’ve been using it in my bathroom to display makeup and beauty products. This tray can serve a variety of functions whether it be a foundation for food, flowers, books, or, in my case, office supplies!

I can’t begin to tell you how much I’ve been really enjoying all the new additions to my office. It’s truly making it a beautiful space to work in each day. It sort of makes every day not feel like work! ;)
