Did I grab your attention with the word “Cookies”?! First of all, you guys are SO wonderful! Thank you so much for all of the pinning of our Animal Sugar Cookie recipe. It’s spreading around Pinterest like wildfire (which is such a great feeling for a content creator like me)! ;) So, for those who remember, we used the Country Crock® Make It Yours™ Cookie Recipe, which is the only cookie recipe you will EVER need, and customized this sugar cookie base by mixing in animal cookies. It was so easy. But I must spill, what I love about this recipe the most is that it’s so versatile, you can literally mix anything into it.
Isn’t it so funny how happy and excited people get about cookies? True story! And because we know this, we jumped at the opportunity to team up with our friends at Country Crock® to host an opportunity to spread joy… and lots of it! We want to see what kind of crazy combinations you can come up with. You might just surprise yourself!
I am over the moon to share this amazing sugar cookie base recipe with all of you, and now it’s YOUR turn to share your own set of mix-ins during the #MakeItYoursHoliday Sweepstakes!

  1. Create your own creative mix-in cookies by using the Make It Yours™ Cookie Recipe from Country Crock® and adding in your very own favorite mix-in (candy/cookies). You can find the recipe in THIS blog post. =)
  2. Share a picture of your cookies by using the hashtag #MakeItYoursHoliday on Twitter or Instagram, or you can upload them directly to Facebook by 12/16/16! The grand prize is $3000 and one runner-up will receive $1500. CafeMedia will also donate $4,500 to Feeding America! That’s a lot of dough. Pun intended! ;)
  3. Spread massive joy by hand-delivering or heck even shipping these bad boys to your favorite people!

Spreading joy is one of my favorite things in the whole wide world, and I couldn’t be more excited to see what you create. It brings back warm memories of when I would surprise my elderly neighbors with baked goodies. Nothing beats baking memories, right?
