DIY Christmas Card Display Holder

31 Flares 31 Flares ×

The countdown to Christmas continues!! Can you believe it’s so close? I have been super prepared this year, and I am so close to being done with all of my shopping! Woohoo!

One of my favorite things about the season is receiving holiday cards from friends and family! I always love seeing cute family pictures and receiving warm sentiments during this time of year. I am equally as into sending holiday cards out myself. I don’t think we’ve missed a Christmas yet! Let me tell you, I definitely enjoy my mail much more during the holidays. It’s so much fun! Usually there’s just junk and bills in there, but around this time of the year, it’s soooo much happier.

So over the years, I have always displayed my holiday cards on the fireplace mantle as they came in. This year, I wanted to try something different because we moved into our new home and no longer have a fireplace mantle. ;) As the cards started rolling in, I wanted to make something super cute and unique, yet stylish!

Rest assured, this card holder display is beyond easy to make, and you can knock it all out within one stop to your local JOANN store! First things first, you will need to get poster board and spray paint it using light pink colored spray paint.

Use a die-cut machine to write “Merry Mail” in your favorite font. I used Caviar Dreams. I also used metallic silver paper to cut snowflakes to add extra holiday cheer.

Can you believe how easy that was?

This is the perfect gift to make for yourself or someone who LOVES the holidays as much as you do. ;) It’s such a stylish way to store your cards for any time of the year (with different wording of course!), and the best part is, it doesn’t take up too much space.

Wishing you all an amazing holiday season!
