Here at Best Friends For Frosting, we celebrated one of our favorite holidays, Valentine’s Day, by exchanging heartfelt cards,  gifting chocolates, and of course our favorite flowers. But that doesn’t mean that has to end! The weeks surrounding Valentine’s Day are our absolute favorites, especially with spring on that rise! Today, we’re so thrilled to share how Peyton Frank of Grit + Gold Southern Wedding Group continues to live it up, even after Valentine’s Day has come and gone. Using hints of romantic reds and pinks, Peyton has created the perfect fun and flirty color combination for a spring bar cart! Here’s what she has to say:

A bundle of cascading balloons in various sizes and shades of pinks, red, white, and sunshine yellow flows from a modern gold bar cart. Clusters of carnations and wild greenery are tucked into the balloons to create a luscious experience of texture and color. It’s the perfect set up for a fun spring celebration!

When styling a bar cart, it is important to keep it clean and simple while still achieving an interesting composition by utilizing various depths and heights. This cart is styled with sweet treats, an artful print, and a yummy cocktail.

The playful yet elegant pastry tower is adorned with delicate blooms while a gold “love drunk” print in a sleek white frame compliments the specialty vodka-lemonade drink. The scene is complete with a few jumbo balloons featuring tails of greenery, a sophisticated alternative to using a heavy paper tassel tail

Kraft paper and hand-dyed silk ribbon adorn a gorgeous bouquet of lush floral and a unique alternative to a boutonniere is pinned to our handsome man’s jacket. This floral brooch incorporates a beautiful bloom and ribbon in a unique and unconventional way that could be dressed up or down for the occasion.

I wanted this photo shoot to be light, fun, and flirty. I think the clean yet colorful design allows that to come through. I chose to focus on a few of my favorite essentials, floral and balloons, while not overdoing it with too many elements. Ultimately, it is a showcase of love and style that I think could be practical for everyday entertaining!
