Dessert Styling for Martha Stewart: SHINY PASTEL OMBRE DESSERT TABLE

If you follow us throughout social media, you probably saw some sneak peeks of a party we styled earlier this week for Martha Stewart. I have been beyond giddy to share with you exactly what we’ve been up to. Martha Stewart has launched a brand new line of party essentials called MarthaCelebrations, which will be sold exclusively at jcpenney, and let me just tell you- it’s phenomenal! From cake stands to dot garlands to pearl gum balls, the MarthaCelebrations line is right on trend!

To celebrate the new launch, Martha Stewart’s team sent party packs out to a handful of bloggers to style a party. We were all asked to pin our images to Martha’s exclusive Pinterest board, which will showcase all of the fun ideas that were created. But wait…there’s more!

Now we can all have our cake and eat it too…preferably ombre cake as pictured above! So this is also a competition, and we need your help. I promise there is something in it for you too! Martha Stewart is giving away 10 celebrations-in-a-box kits filled with products from her new line. To enter, all you have to do is go to Martha Stewart’s #Letscelebrate Pin Party Pinterest board and re-pin your favorite images with the hashtag #LetsCelebrate in the caption. Martha Stewart Living will randomly select 10 people who have re-pinned an image from the board to win. And, if Best Friends For Frosting’s images are pinned the most, this party will be featured on And, of course, we would have to throw another party, because that would be a huge reason to celebrate!

I wanted the feeling of this dessert table to embrace a party that was perfect for a summer celebration – preferably for the ladies! On the dessert table we have Peach French Macarons, two gorgeous styles of ruffled cakes, pink pearl gum balls styled inside a mason jar, peach cupcakes placed in Wood grain Cupcake Liners, ombre pastel cake pops, and one 3-tier cake placed on top of a clear Cake Stand.

Want to see a really easy dessert styling trick?  We added these shimmery white gumballs to a clear cake stand for extra flair!

The wood grain cupcake liners came with these fabulous silver shiny tassels. Instead of sticking them on top of the cupcakes, I placed them inside a black straw for festive flair. The macarons sat perfectly on a  Wood grain paper Plate while the ombre cake pops displayed on a wood grain napkin.

From shimmery pearl gum balls to fresh lemonade, this party was one that I wish I could have invited all of you to!

One of my favorite touches added to the table were the MarthaCelebrations Dot Garlands topped with pink bow ties, which were used to hang the balloons with. The MarthaCelebrations Draped Dot Chandelier made the perfect ceiling centerpiece to tie in a romantic feeling. I hope this dessert table will inspire you to throw a party this summer.

Don’t forget, if you love these images, be sure to pin them to Martha Stewart’s #Letscelebrate Pin Party Pinterest board and re-pin your favorite images with the hashtag #LetsCelebrate in the caption. Martha Stewart Living will randomly select 10 people who have re-pinned an image from the board to win.  And of course, we would just love to win that feature on Martha Stewart’s website.

All of the MarthaCelebrations at jcpenney products featured in this post were provided by the Editors at Martha Stewart Living, a team that loves a good party and deeply admires the bloggers who throw them.

they asked lots of bloggers to do this. many declined due to the fact that it’s a competition. bloggers promote one another, not compete against them
