My Favorite Party Accessories

One of the most common messages I receive is where do we get our party accessories! So, I thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite entertaining accessories while also sharing our creative process behind the scenes!

About 50% of the contents of our prop closet changes out each season. Every quarter, Kim and I come up with a list that includes our favorite entertaining supplies, trends, and ideas. We create Pinterest boards refreshed with our favorites. We also curate a list of our favorite shops and brands. Then, Ally reaches out to our wish list of brands to collaborate with! Sometimes we get things for free, while other times we buy them. One of these days, I may need to put together a post on how much we spend a year to run BFFF! ;)

Here’s one of my all-time favorite party essentials for 2017- these pineapple plates! We used them several times in posts including these eyelash cupcakes and these pink and gold swan cookies! I am so obsessed that the team literally made a call that we didn’t use them a third time or else our content would begin to look redundant! ;)

So I have to admit, there are SO many other props and trends I couldn’t squeeze into these photos. We have so so much stuff! I truly do love curating props using all different colors, textures, patterns, finishes, and trends! From table settings to recipes, they have such a fun way of tying in a theme!
