ladies-outside-lowbrauThe holidays are approaching, which means we’re all getting ready to entertain and be entertained by others! Today our lovely friends at Maple & Moss have shared their own glamorous holiday party with BFFF. The girls created a lovely celebration that let guests unwind, enjoy the holiday season, and embrace the final few weeks of 2013. The day was filled with custom drinks, divine treats, and more than a little gold glitter!

lowbrau-signgold-glitter-glassThe girls at Maple+Moss put together this glam holiday bash using a few of their favorite pieces from Target’s Threshold holiday collection. Combined with delicious appetizers and specially made cocktails, Lowbrau Bierhall was turned into one fabulous party!

dave-steinbergLowbrau bartender Dave Steinberg was on hand, whipping up a delicious cocktail called “gathering gala.” (Stay tuned, best friends: We’ll be sharing the recipe for this festive cocktail with you tomorrow!)

yummy-holiday-snacksKabra and BFFF have something in common: we can’t get enough of gold glitter, especially around the holidays. For their table, maple+moss dipped the rims of basic candle holders in glue and gold glitter. With a few painted white ceramics picked up at Dollar Tree and a bit of garland, the bar table looked super festive!

french-twistThe party doesn’t stop there; we had to know more about the girls’ party looks. Kabra suggests that we keep ourselves simple but stylish for holiday festivities. Try a low chignon or a lovely unkempt French twist. Just add a little texture spray (Kabra suggests Davine’s Sea Salt Primer) and wrap your hair into a bun or twist. Dump the hair-yanking bobby pins and secure your look with hair pins instead. Finish off with Medium Hold Hairspray.

red-lipsblue-based-lipstickDeep red lips are a must-have for the holidays. Tanya recommends using a q-tip to wipe away dead skin from your lips— and try to stay hydrated so that your mouth won’t get chapped in the chilly weather. Just line your lip from the center out, fill with liner, and watch the color last! Any shade of red with a blue undertone will make your teeth look nice and extra white. Don’t forget to blot lips, dust with a little powder, and then blot again.

gold-eyeshadowBring back a little more gold for your party and add gold eyeliner just above the black line. Apply some Falsies mascara and you’re ready to party!
