Pink Girl’s Bedroom

I have been SO ready to share another room reveal with you from our home! It’s no joke that 2018 has been our BIGGEST year of interior design around here. Seriously, between the #SOBestFriendsForFrosting Airbnb and the purchase of our Mid-century Modern home, we’ve been busy. But when it came to putting together Claire’s room, I had endless amounts of inspiration! Between pulling ideas from my own childhood and combining those with the latest emerging trends, this has been such a fun room to work on. If you’ve been following along with me for a while, then you will probably remember the very first reveal of Claire’s Nursery. We had so much fun with it that we ended up teaming up with Pottery Barn Kids again to add some of the latest touches. So excited to share this with you!

My favorite thing about this entire reveal? Claire’s original Pottery Barn Crib was so easy to convert into a toddler bed with the conversion kit. When it came time to pick out large pieces of furniture, I wanted to choose pieces that we could continue to use as Claire grows older. Not only is this bed super functional, but it also has stylish modern touches that even match her dresser perfectly! Each piece is gorgeous and so durable, which is a huge win in my book!

Small accent pieces like Claire’s pom-pom quilt and pillow shams were the finishing touches that just made everything come together for me. Plus, they just add such a fun flair to the modern elements!

For Claire’s first room reveal, we began with a color palette of pink, white, and gold. Anyone else out there surprised? LOL! One thing I love is how these colors were seriously so easy to transition into the new room. They really went well with the decor pieces I added into Claire’s upgraded space! For instance, I was able to keep Claire’s favorite (and let’s face it, my favorite too) rocking unicorn from before, but I was also able to add in the little ballerina and carousel pieces. I think they are just so cute!

Okay, I have a little secret about this design. Did I already say I had a favorite part of this reveal? Because I may have changed my mind! ;) My new favorite part is this pink accent wall behind Claire’s bed, which is actually wallpaper. Seriously, can we just talk about how wallpaper is such a great way to update a room and add some color? I love trying out new designs, and Claire’s room was the perfect opportunity for me to get creative! I got this wallpaper from Spoonflower, and it was beyond easy to install. Love it!

This moon nightlight is such a darling accent piece! I mean, seriously, is it not the cutest thing when it’s all lit up?! I love that PB Kids makes it so easy for me to create a space, but doesn’t take up too much of my time. (Hello crazy busy moms out there, I see you!)

And that’s a wrap! We’ll be celebrating Claire’s 3rd birthday in just 1 more week. Can you believe it?! Time is literally flying! Have a question about any of the products?  Drop me a comment or  shop the entire post with the links below!
