Polka Dot Cardigan with Pink Skirt

Don’t let these pink door house pictures fool you! I ended up tossing together an outfit that was already in my closet forever for this photo shoot…. still not so sure about my choice for shoes (oops)! I ended up having such horrible allergies when I got on location that I had to go home immediately after my first few shots that morning with Jenn Bartell. Usually we try to shoot content for at least 4 blog posts per shoot. I felt awful! Such a good reminder that it’s so easy to get a snap into someone else’s life and think their life is perfect or that it’s free of all challenges. And if you saw these photos, you would probably think I was having a great day, but I was MISERABLE that day! =(

A couple weeks back, Andy and I went downtown for date night. We stumbled across the most amazing white art deco duplex with pink doors and pineapple door mats. Pinterest dream, right?!  So after we discovered this house, we drove back around 5 more times, wrote down the address, and I knew I had to do a photoshoot there.

BTW, this Tori Burch bag is my go-to! It fits everything under the sun inside. The initial reason why I bought it was because of ALL the amazing reviews on how it fits your MacBook seamlessly inside. I use it for all my meetings or when traveling with a laptop.

I got this cardigan at J.Crew and it’s my go-to-too! ;) I’ve seen it on sale a few times around $30. I love wearing it with jeans or skirts. Can’t shake my polka dot addiction. ;)

WHO ELSE wants to move in? Talk about the perfect pink door!
