POM GLAZED FRUIT SALAD RECIPE

Believe it or not, Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to snack on salad— fruit salad, that is! Today we’re sharing a yummy recipe for a POM glazed fruit salad by Zahira of Eventus by Zahira. Not only is this fruity treat fun to eat, but it will fit your V-day color scheme. The bowls will look lovely on your table for as long as you can restrain yourself from digging in!

POM GLAZED FRUIT SALAD

ingredients2

SALAD:

—1 half medium sized watermelon, cubed (use a heart shaped cookie cutter if possible!)

— 1 cup of quartered strawberries

—1 cup of raspberries

GLAZE:

—1 1⁄2 cup POM juice

—1⁄2 cup sugar

1. Strain POM juice in a pan on high temperature.

2. Wait 5 minutes and add sugar. After 10 minutes on boiling temperatures, remove pan from the hot stove. Wait 5 more minutes to cool down, creating the “syrup” glaze.
