This recipe had me at “red velvet and cheesecake” and then went all out by adding in “brownies.” I really think thereʼs a dessert within this dessert for everyone! Hints of dark chocolate, swirled in gooey cream cheese with a little southern [ﬂare] of red velvet…my mouth is watering all ready!
As much as I love red velvet cake (I even added a layer of it when I made my own wedding cake!) I tend to shy away from it simply due to the normally heavy quantities of itʼs trademark–red dye. This recipe, however, has delightfully reduced the amount to a mere teaspoon and a half while still making any red velvet “dye-hard” proud! I canʼt wait to whip of a batch for Christmas, or Valentineʼs Day, or…this afternoon
