Ways to Celebrate

Raise your hand if you’re looking for a few simple ways to celebrate?! You’ve come to the right place girlfriend! With Charlie’s last day of school yesterday, we are officially ready to rock summer mode over here. And especially over the summer, with the kids both home from school, I am all about effortless and easily attainable ways to celebrate the every day. Who’s with me?! Luckily, I have a few ideas that I can’t wait to share with you!

Favorite Sprinkles

One of my absolute favorite shortcuts for celebrating is grabbing store-bought cupcakes and sprucing them up! Seriously, less is more, and especially when you’re in a hurry, there is no reason to sweat over baking cupcakes from scratch. One of my go-to tips is to add your favorite sprinkles on top and call it a day. Rainbow confetti is one of my faves.

Cute Dishes

One of the easiest ways to celebrate the every day is by using all of the cute stuff you have tucked away! Raise your hand if that’s totally you. I’ve been obsessed with these cute pineapple dishes for so long, and I always make a point to bust them out to celebrate when I can. Don’t let the cute stuff just sit and collect dust on your shelves!

Giving Flowers

Celebrating the every day doesn’t just mean celebrating yourself. Spread the love! One of the simplest, most attainable ways to spread joy is to surprise your friends or even your neighbors with flowers or a plant. Leave a plant on your neighbor’s doorstep and it’s like the adult version of ding-dong ditch! ;)

Easy Cookies

Don’t have all the time in the world to bake cookies for that upcoming party? Or, maybe you just want a quick fun treat for your family on a Sunday afternoon! There’s no shame here in grabbing sprinkled cookie dough for a quick fix. Simply bake and serve to get the party started!

Self-Care

Take the time to celebrate yourself too! I love grabbing my favorite coffee cup and filling it with coffee or tea to just take a moment. We can all get so wrapped up in social media and the chaos of life. It’s so important to take a little time to celebrate!

What are some of your go-to easily attainable ways to celebrate the every day? I want to hear all about them in the comments below!

When my children were little, they used to love it when we ate dinner by candlelight. Even chicken nuggets seem special when eaten by candlelight!

Love, love, love this post. Most people in my life ask me how and why I am so happy all the time – especially considering all the bad things I’ve been through, and the health issues I still struggle with – and they just don’t seem to understand how much happiness is scattered throughout the smallest things in life! A little bit of sunshine, a cup of tea, a good book; all of these are examples of small things that can have huge impacts on our hearts and happiness levels. You’ve just got to open your eyes to all the wonderful things around you! ?
