Ready for a fun summer activity for the kids? Turn any day into a fundae with an ice cream sundae bar!

Who’s ready to make a splash? Can you believe summer is almost over?! The kids are about to head back to school, but we’re having so much fun spending time together as a family. It’s hands down one of my favorite times of the year! Who’s with me? It’s also such a fun time to come up with new and exciting ways to treat the kids, and the latest hit is with an ice cream bar to put together fundaes!
Favorite Chips Ahoy! Hershey’s flavor Cookies
Have you seen the new Chips Ahoy! Hershey’s flavor cookies at Walmart? Once I brought home a package from the store, they were gone in a day. Woops! They come in four different flavors, with two classic options and two chewy options. The classic cookies are made with Reese’s Pieces and another flavor with Hershey’s milk chocolate, and the chewy cookies are made with Hershey’s (they’re fudge-filled!), plus chewy cookies with Reese’s peanut butter cups. Yum!
To make a summer afternoon super fun, we had such a great time setting up an ice cream sundae bar with the help of our friends at Mondelez International, with Chips Ahoy! Hershey’s flavor cookies as the star! We let the kids choose their ice cream, and then they got to load it up with cookies and other toppings for the perfect fundae!
To set up a bar to make ice cream fundaes of your own, you’ll need your favorite ice cream, along with your selection of Chips Ahoy! cookies. We also added plenty of other fun toppings to really make the ultimate sundae! You can add sliced strawberries, crushed pineapple, sprinkles, chopped nuts, maraschino cherries, mini chocolate chips, shredded coconut, caramel sauce, chocolate syrup, and strawberry syrup. The possibilities are endless!
How to Make Ice Cream Sundaes
To set up the ultimate ice cream sundae bar to make fundaes, be sure you have a big enough station to set everything out. Put the toppings in small bowls or other containers, and be sure you have spoons to dish them out. Dish up the ice cream, and then allow everyone to go down the line adding what they want to make the ultimate treat. Any day is the perfect day for a fundae!
This would be such a fun party idea for a small backyard get-together, or it’s great if you’re just enjoying a family afternoon together during the summer. Ice cream is such a fun treat for kids and a great way to beat the heat. Plus, with toppings like Chips Ahoy! Hershey’s flavor cookies, caramel sauce, and fresh fruit, you can’t go wrong. What toppings would you add to your fundae bar? I’d love to know! Tell me all about it in the comments below.
