Teacher Appreciation Week

My mother in-law is a retired 1st and 2nd grade teacher, and I always dreamed of being a teacher throughout my whole childhood. So this is near and dear to my heart! Teacher Appreciation Week is just around the corner, and I can’t wait! I have SO much appreciation for super teachers and their hearts of gold! It truly takes an amazing person to be a teacher, and it is one of the most important jobs in the world that will shape a child for life. I still remember the warm memories my kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade teacher gave me, and those are definitely the memories that last a lifetime! One of my favorite things about Pinterest is being able to see how many incredible ideas others have for milestones and celebrations. This year my head is spinning with so many ideas I found on Pinterest for teachers gifts, and I am over the moon excited to share them with you. Last year, I played it simple and met with some moms at Charlie’s school and we taped signs on the classroom doors. Some parents made meals for the teachers and substitute teachers. Some even taped wrapping paper on the teachers’ doors! Even though I won’t have the bandwidth to execute all of these amazing ideas below as teacher gifts, I am SO excited to have this post as a resource for all my mama friends who have amazing teachers to celebrate all week long. Teacher Appreciation week runs May 6th through May 10th. Time to get ready!
