Chili Dog Boats

Chili dog boats are an easy and delicious dinner made by filling hot dog buns with grilled hot dogs, topping them with chili, cheese, and other condiments of your choice, and then baking them until the cheese is melted and bubbly. They are a hit at cookouts and sporting events, offering such a flavorful and satisfying combination of flavors and textures.

Instructions

  • Cut a rectangle into each hot dog buns to make your *boat*
  • Brush buns with your butter mixture (melted butter with a little bit
  • of garlic + parsley)
  • Sprinkle Cheese
  • Add Chili beans
  • Add grilled or boiled hot dog to each bun
  • Add a little more Chili beans & cheese on top, as well as any other favorite condiments.
  • Bake your hot dog boats 350 for 5 minutes
