1loaf of frozen white bread doughthawed in fridge overnight
1cupbrown sugar
1tablespooncinnamon
1 1/2tablespoonsconfetti sprinklesdivided
2tablespoonsbuttermelted
1cuppowdered sugar
1/2teaspoonsvanilla
6ouncescream cheese
1stick buttersoftened for icing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and 1t confetti sprinkles to a small bowl; mix to combine and set aside.
Roll out bread dough using a rolling pin, keeping dough as long and rectangular as possible. Note: sprinkle flour on your work bench and dough as needed to prevent it from sticking.
Sprinkle confetti sprinkles on the dough, making sure to spread evenly.
Using a pastry brush, add all melted butter to the dough.
Add brown sugar mixture to the top of the dough, spreading evenly.
Roll dough into a log, similar to a jelly roll, keeping as tight as possible.
Once in a log shape, use knife to cut into 1 inch pieces.
Add pieces to a prepared baking dish and set aside; cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for 1 hour in a warm area.
While dough is rising, you can make the icing by adding vanilla, cream cheese, butter, and half of the powdered sugar to a medium bowl and mixing using a hand mixer. Once incorporated, add the other half of the powdered sugar to the mixture and finish mixing.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and dough is cooked through.
Add icing to tops of cinnamon rolls and sprinkle confetti. Enjoy!
