This easy bean dip recipe gets a spooky Halloween makeover with a sour cream spider web and festive toppings. It’s a quick, no-bake Halloween dip that takes just 15 minutes to make!
In a medium bowl, stir together the refried beans and taco seasoning.
Spread the refried beans into a single layer along the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish.
Spread the guacamole into a layer over the refried beans.
To create the spider web, pipe sour cream in lines across the guacamole to divide the dip into 16 sections. Pipe 2 curved lines across each section to create the inner and outer rows of the web.
Arrange the diced tomato, shredded cheese, olives, and green onions around the perimeter of the dip, then add a plastic spider in the center.
Serve with warm tortilla chips.
Notes
Let the sour cream sit out for 10–15 minutes or stir briefly before piping so it’s easier to work with.
Smooth the refried bean and guacamole layers evenly for a cleaner spider web.
To make ahead, layer the beans and guacamole a few hours in advance and refrigerate. Add the sour cream web and toppings right before serving.
Plastic spider: The spider is for decoration only and is not edible. Remove it before serving the dip.
