Easter Birds Nest Cookie Cups

Equipment

  • 2 non-stick 12 count muffin tins
  • 1 shot glass

Ingredients

  • 1 pack 24 count Pillsbury sugar cookie dough
  • 2 squeeze bottles Great Value green decorating cupcake icing 8.4 oz
  • 72 Cadbury mini chocolate easter eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Spray a two 12 count non-stick muffin pans with cooking spray.
  • Place sugar cookie dough in each muffin tin.

  • Bake according to the cookie packages instructions or until the edges of the cookies are a light golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven. While the cookies are still hot, with a shot glass press gently into the center of each cookie to create a cup shape.
  • Let cookies cool slightly, about 5 minutes, then gently remove them from the muffin tins. If cookies stick to the pan, use a butter knife to gently loosen the sides before removing them from the pan.

  • Let cookies cool completely, then fill each cup with green frosting using the star shaped piping tip that comes with the frosting.
